Two earthquakes rattled residents in Central Oklahoma Sunday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 2:14 a.m. Its epicenter was located four miles southwest of Langston, six miles east of Guthrie, and 31 miles north, northeast of Oklahoma City.
It was about three miles deep.
Just after 5:30 a.m., another 2.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Jones. Its epicenter was located three miles north, northwest of Jones, nine miles east, southeast of Edmond, and 14 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
It was also about three miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported following these earthquakes.
News 9 viewers in several areas, including The Village and Guthrie, reported feeling these earthquakes.
At 8:41 p.m. Saturday, the Oklahoma Geological Survey reports that a 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Medford, Oklahoma.
