Prosecutors Charge Tulsa Man In Fatal Owasso Teacher Crash

Prosecutors filed a first-degree manslaughter charge against 51-year-old Scott Smith.

He's blamed for a three-car crash on Highway 169 that killed an Owasso teacher in May and sent six others to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say Smith had a suspended license and was driving recklessly when he slammed into the back of two cars that had slowed down for construction on the Bird Creek bridge.
