Mayes County Officials Looking For Two Accused Of Carjacking

Mayes County officials are looking for a Hispanic male and White female accused of carjacking.

According to the Mayes County Sheriff Department the two suspects were riding in a car towards the Sportsman Acres or Cherokee Heights area.

Reports say an argument started and a gun was being waved in the air. Officials say the gun was accidentally fired, hitting one of the people inside the car.

The male and female getting a ride are said to have then stolen the vehicle and left.

The vehicle is a black older model Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition.

Reports say all the people in the car knew each other.
