(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Independent candidate Gary Richardson leads Oklahoma's gubernatorial candidates in earnings.

Richardson reported $3.8-million in income on last year's tax return. Richardson paid $1.2-million in federal taxes. He made most of his income from his Tulsa law practice and from his real estate holdings that include a theater.

Republican Steve Largent and his wife reported $185,758. That includes Largent's salary as a U-S representative and money made from signing cards for football souvenir collectors. Largent's a former NFL star.

Largent paid more than $25,000 in taxes.

Democrat Brad Henry and his wife reported $116,288 in income. He paid more than $23,000 in taxes.
