The U.S. Attorney’s Office is making sure crime victims and their families know about the resources available to them.
It partnered with law enforcement and community organizations across Green Country for a Community Day of Hope.
The event was held in the parking lot at Tulsa’s Promenade Mall in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights week. 40 organizations shared safety and resource information for crime victims.
“There’s real people behind those doors who really have big hearts and who have a passion for helping them get through the issues that they are going through,” Cathy CoCo Hill with the U.S. Attorney’s office.
The first crime victims’ rights week was in 1981.
