Tulsa Police are looking for a man they said held a woman at gunpoint inside her home, tried to sexually assault her and then robbed her.
Police said the man followed the woman into her home as she was getting home from work.
Detectives said the victim was walking into her front door when the man snuck up behind her with a gun and forced the woman into her home.
Police said they are looking for a man caught on a surveillance camera, who they are calling a possible suspect. They say evidence from the robbery led them to a Tulsa store, and the surveillance video.
Detectives said the man’s clothes are distinctive, with the giraffe on his shirt and his "Tulsa" hat.
"Obviously this is a pretty scary deal when somebody goes in somebody's apartment, forces their way in,” said Lt. Justin Ritter with the Tulsa Police Robbery Unit. “It could have been stepped up to another level and luckily it wasn't, but we'd like to get this guy off the streets before that happens.”
Detectives ask anyone who recognizes the man in the picture to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
