Missing Sapulpa Teen Has Been Found Safe

The Sapulpa Police Department said Saturday that a missing teenager has been located and found safe.

Callista Burleigh, 17, left her home Friday to take her dog on a walk and did not return home. The dog was found tied to a bench at a rest stop.

Authorities said it received "several dozen tips" tied to Burleigh's disappearance. She is currently in law enforcement custody in an another county.

Detectives from Sapulpa are set to pick up Burleigh and bring her back to her family.

Authorities said they believe Burleigh left on her own accord.
