Tulsa Police arrested a man they said followed three women home from a Brookside bar, then watched them through a window as they changed clothes.
Police said the women took matters into their own hands and chased Taylor Rogers down, fought with him and held him down until police got there. Officers said Rogers punched, kicked, pulled out hair, and even bit one of the victims, but they were able to overpower him and got him on the ground.
When police got to 36th Street and Riverside, two of the women were on top of Rogers in the middle of the street. The women said they’d been inside the house when they noticed Rogers trying to open the screen on their window.
Officers said one of the women called police and the other two went after Rogers.
"They didn't want to be victims that night and there's no telling what he could have done if he had actually got inside the house. For them to be able to fight them off, that's good on them,” said Andre Baul with Tulsa Police.
Police said they did find Rogers’ car down the street from the house where the women were.
Rogers has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail for peeping tom, assault and battery and attempted first-degree burglary.
