Renter Protection Bill Headed To Oklahoma House

A bill which could ensure renters are better protected against landlords is headed to the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

House Bill 2109 would protect renters in the event they voiced concerns about their living conditions related to health or safety.

According to the Oklahoma Policy Institute, Oklahoma is one of only six states without protections in place for tenants who make complaints about safety or health concerns.
