Dr. Sharolyn Cook, an interventional cardiologist from Ascension Saint John joined the News On 6 team on Friday morning to share a recipe for Salmon with Roasted Vegetables, and talking about how to keep your hearts healthy.

Ingredients:

  1. 14 large cloves garlic, divided
  2. ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  3. 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh oregano, divided
  4. 1 teaspoon salt, divided
  5. ¾ teaspoon freshly ground pepper, divided
  6. 6 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and sliced
  7. ¾ cup white wine, preferably Chardonnay
  8. 2 pounds wild-caught salmon fillet, skinned, cut into 6 portions
  9. Lemon wedges
