Fort Gibson Schools say two teenage boys have died after the Wagoner County Sheriff says they jumped into Fort Gibson Lake and drowned.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol rescue groups were out on the lake Saturday morning after Wagoner County deputies say the two teens and another 20-year-old jumped off a cliff at Rocky Point during the Friday night storms.

They say the 20-year-old swam to shore, but Damian Mayton, 19, and Kalub Mayton, 16, never resurfaced.

OHP says troopers recovered their bodies in the morning.

Fort Gibson Schools released a statement Saturday afternoon mourning the loss of the brothers and offering support to the school community.
