47-Year-Old Man Killed In Muskogee County Crash

A 47-year-old man died Saturday morning after crashing on East Dawson Street near Fort Gibson, authorities say.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Brian Karnes, was pronounced dead at the scene.

OHP said Karnes was driving around 2:25 a.m. when the car veered off the road and hit a tree.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
