The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals said it could really use a hand as it helps people keep their animals warm during the cold weather.
Oklahoma Alliance for Animals said people have been coming in nonstop since last week and it is running low on supplies.
The group said volunteers have been helping give away things like dog food and packing straw for dog houses to those in need.
Jan Lavender said Tulsa's new ordinance that makes it illegal to leave animals out in freezing temperatures has spurred more people to action.
She said even if your pet normally stays outside, the extreme weather is still too much for them.
"When it's this cold, their water bowls freeze, every, within 2 hours. So you really have to provide water every 2 hours. Animals need more food in this weather because they burn a lot more calories trying to stay warm; so lots of food, regular water changes. If you can bring them inside, bring them inside, even if it's for a couple days," Lavender said.
If you're worried about a neighbor's pet, Lavender said you can offer to help or call Tulsa Animal Welfare to go check on them.
She said the group also always needs donations for things like dog houses, food, collars, and straw.
