The largest Goalball tournament to date is being held in Tulsa this weekend. Goalball is a sport for visually impaired people, and has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1976. Players face each other and roll a ball with bells inside, and opposing players have to block it with their bodies.

Organizer Mark Ivy says it’s a great example of athletes not letting anything get in their way.

“Anytime you get to get out and get active with the adrenaline coming, I mean, there's no better no more adrenaline right than a ball coming screaming at your face and your body's the glove, right?,” Ivy said. “And so we're all just trying to get better to reach whatever goals we want. But most importantly, we're all just trying to get on the floor and play the game.”

The tournament is at the Center for Individuals With Physical Challenges and runs until 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
