A Tulsa man is looking to revitalize the Greenwood District with innovative technology, which he said will create more jobs.

Dr. Lael Alexander is the founder of what he said is one of the fastest growing mobile technology start-up companies.

He said he wants Black Wall Street to be at the center of technology.

Dr. Alexander said his company "Noitavonne" created concepts like screen sharing and the mobile payment method.

While his tech company has excelled overseas, he’s decided to build up Black Wall Street with innovative technology.

He said his goal is to bring tech companies from overseas into Tulsa neighborhoods.

He purchased the last 12 acres of land on Black Wall Street, which he's turned into a 170,000 square foot manufacturing pod.

He hopes to create more than 1,000 tech jobs in the Tulsa market.

“Educating them on the concepts around how we can actually grow a manufacturing complex in this market. So, this facility right here is the training grounds for the future of those individuals that want to get into the science field or innovative technology field," Dr. Alexander said.

Dr. Alexander said his training facility will open in July, 2024. CLICK HERE to learn about Dr. Alexander and Noitavonne.
