NOISE is a grassroots organization of volunteers who formed to assist northeastern Oklahoma families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives.

In addition to bringing awareness, NOISE works with families to meet other needs that will support their desire to find their missing loved one or bring justice to a relative that has been lost.

The nonprofit is now organizing to prevent Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives, by training members to provide assistance to abused Indigenous people.

“We all pick up where the rest of the world forgets. We become the investigators. The bridge between worlds that keeps our relatives' names being spoken and their stories being told,” said Jessie Haase, Secretary for NOISE.

Its first official meeting was in 2019. It does awareness work, advocacy work, training for advocates, and active casework.

Some of that advocacy work looks like court support, keeping track of offenders, online and physical flyer distribution, and giving families other resources they may need.
