Southwest OKC pursuit ends in 2 arrests

Two suspects were arrested following an alleged stolen vehicle chase Friday morning in Oklahoma City, police say.

Two people are in custody after leading officers on a chase Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City, according to police.

According to Oklahoma City Police, a Flock camera spotted a stolen vehicle near Southeast 44th Street and Interstate 35. Police later discovered the vehicle near Southeast 44th Street and South Stiles Avenue.

OCPD says a pursuit began, with the suspects driving in the middle of the roadway with their headlights turned off.

The vehicle eventually stopped near Southwest 4th Street and South Western Avenue, where police began searching for the suspects with drones and K-9 units.

Police made arrests after a short search and are now working to clear the roadway.
