The mystery didn’t last long. After just two days and a couple of cryptic clues, the Rooster Days egg hunt came to an end at Ray Harrel Nature Park. The winners, Kerry and Jeffery Siewert, almost didn't find the egg.

How They Found It

The couple says they followed the clues to Ray Harrel Park. After some searching, Kerry managed to spot the egg hidden under the spring marker. Just as Jeffery almost walked away thinking it was a water bottle.

Background on the Egg Hunt

The Rooster Days egg hunt is part of the larger Rooster Days festival happening May 15-18.

The idea is that a sponsor of the festival hides the egg, slowly revealing clues until it is found. The prize for finding the egg is $1,000 and getting to ride in the Rooster Days Parade.

What's Next?

The lucky couple will now get to participate in the parade on May 18, receiving their prize on the main stage. The Egg will then be donated to The Museum Broken Arrow.
