Deputies are investigating after workers found two pipe bombs along a highway in Pushmataha County this week.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Okmulgee man is in a Tulsa hospital after almost drowning in Latimer County Monday evening. He is identified as 44-year-old Jared Wilson.

Some Oklahoma law enforcement officers are making sure students are ready if their school is put on lockdown.  A "lockdown drill" was held this week at Wilburton Public Schools in Latimer County.
