Three Men Arrested In Connection With Adair County Homicide

Authorities in Adair and Washington counties have arrested three people in connection the shooting death of an Adair County man June 16th.

STILWELL, OK -- Authorities in Adair and Washington counties have arrested three people in connection the shooting death of an Adair County man June 16th.

The Adair County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Charles Dodd was shot while driving near Westville. He was flown by helicopter to a Bentonville, Arkansas hospital where he later died.

On Thursday, the sheriff's office with help from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Westville Police and Dewey Police arrested three people on 2nd degree murder warrants.

James Lambert, 27, was arrested at a home near New Hope in Adair County on Thursday.

Michael Clinton, 28, and Tommy Clinton, 25 were arrested at a home in Dewey in Washington County late Thursday night.

Dewey Police say the two cousins were taken to the Washington County jail where they will be returned to Adair County.
