Frito Lay Truck Driver Logs One Million Miles with No Accidents

TULSA, OK---At the Frito Lay distribution facility in Tulsa the truck drivers are known as Product Exchange Drivers. Billy Whitted has been a PEC for Frito Lay for the past 18 years and just passed the million mile mark for accident free driving.

'Most drivers don't simply drive a million miles,' said Frito Lay Facility Operations Manager Justin Ford, 'Billy has driven a million miles safely, which is remarkable.'

Besides getting a watch, a million-miles ring and a plaque recognizing the feat, Whitted received a financial reward. Bill is just happy each trip making it back home safely to see his family.

'Something happens on the road you effect more than just yourself,' said Billy, 'you effect the people around you, your job, your family, so be safe and try and get there and back safely...that's the whole game of what we do out there.'
