Ponca City Attorney Arrested On Drug Trafficking Complaint

PONCA CITY, Oklahoma -- A 42-year-old Ponca City attorney is in the Kay County jail following his arrest Wednesday evening. 

Ponca City Police say a joint investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Ponca City Police led to the arrest of Gale McArthur at 9 p.m. 

McArthur was booked into the jail on complaints of trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm and use of a communication device in the commission of a felony. 

At the time of his arrest, McArthur was driving a 2004 Lincoln Navigator, which was seized by police.
