Child Killed In Stilwell House Fire

STILWELL, Oklahoma -- A 5-year-old boy was killed in a house fire north of Stilwell in rural Adair county.

The Stilwell Fire Department and Adair County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene Friday morning.

Fire officials say the living room, utility room and a back bedroom were fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

The little boy was found in the bedroom.

Three medical helicopters were also dispatched to the area, but two were turned back.

The state fire marshal is looking into what caused the fire.
