ARDMORE, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a woman who died Tuesday morning in the Carter County jail.
Inmate Patricia Ann Wallace, 52, was found dead in her cell at 6 a.m. on April 12.
Ardmore police arrested Wallace Monday night for DUI. The Marietta woman was booked into the Carter County Detention Center just after 4 a.m. and placed in a cell by herself. Her body was discovered a couple of hours later.
The State Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy on the woman's body. The OSBI says there is no indication her death was the result of foul play.
