Taylor Griffin Waived by Phoenix Suns

The former Sooner was waived by the Suns Monday, and could be headed oversees, to the D-League or to play for the most famous team in the world.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns waived former Oklahoma SoonerTaylor Griffin Monday, according to the Arizona Republic.

Griffin, who averaged 5.5 points per game with the Sooners, racked up an average of 1.3 points per game in his with the Suns.

Griffin was taken by the Suns in the second round of the 2009 draft with the 48th overall pick. While his next move remains unknown, he could play oversees, in the NBA Development League or with the Harlem Globetrotters, who also drafted Griffin.
