Halliburton Admits Tainting Duncan Water

Energy company Halliburton admits to tainting the water on and around its property in Duncan and is now handing out safe water.

DUNCAN, Oklahoma -- Energy company Halliburton admits to tainting the water on and around its property in Duncan and is now handing out safe water.

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality says it has found a chemical in 18 wells which can harm a person's thyroid.

Halliburton says no one should drink the toxic water.

It is working the DEQ to resolve the contamination.
