OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame has seen its fair share of talented and remarkable individuals entering it, but this year's class is extra special.
Some big names were on hand Tuesday night at the Jim Thorpe Association and Hall of Fame Museum in Oklahoma City.
The 2011 class included T. Boone Pickens, John Starks, Jim Bolding, Lucious Selmon, Tommy Evans and Crystal Robinson.
Pickens attended Oklahoma A&M but had some interesting words for Texas A&M during the event, saying that if he had influence over the Aggies athletic program he would tell them to "stay home."
The entire group expressed their appreciation to fans and supporters for their elections into the Hall of Fame.
News 9 was at the event to capture the images and talk to some of the Hall of Fame's newest members.
