Escaped OKC Inmate Back In Custody

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies found Rodney Key, 23, at a Wal-mart in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An inmate who escaped a minimum security jail in Oklahoma City is back behind bars.

After receiving a tip, Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies found Rodney Key, 23, at a Wal-mart store located at N.W. 23rd Street and MacArthur Boulevard in Oklahoma City.

According to the sheriff's department, Key escaped from the Carver Center in Oklahoma City where he was serving a five year sentence in a bogus checks case.

Deputies booked Key into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
