Prison Escapee From Holdenville Believed To Be In Edmond

The Edmond Police Department is searching for an escaped prisoner.  The escapee is identified as 24-year-old Donte Johnson. 

Johnson was sent to prison for drug possession and intent to distribute out of Payne County. 

He escaped from the Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville. 

Police say he was seen Thursday at the Rolling Green Apartments near Danforth and Boulevard in Edmond. 

Edmond Police surrounded the complex for several hours Thursday afternoon in an effort to determine if Johnson was inside one of the apartments, but never found him.
