OKC Police Arrest Suspect In June Double Homicide

Police discovered a man suspected of killing two people at a northeast Oklahoma City apartment complex was already sitting in jail.

Demetra Boyce and Edward Allen were gunned down June 19 around 2:30 a.m. near Kelley and Wilshire. Neighbors called police after hearing gunshots. Officers discovered Boyce's body in the parking lot, and Allen's body in an upstairs apartment.

On Thursday, police named 21-year-old Darrell Brown as the gunman in the double killing. He was already in the Oklahoma County jail on unrelated charges. He's now also being held on two counts of first-degree murder, and one count of pointing a firearm. Police say there are no other suspects.

Investigators have not revealed a possible motive for the double homicide.
