Investigators found the gun used in the killings in a trash cart at N.E. 34th Street and Lottie. Over the next few weeks, witnesses told police Rogers, a member of a local gang who goes by the street name "Bad Eye," was the person who killed Jackson and Johnson. Police say Jackson's mother even sent a picture of Rogers to a witness, who confirmed the suspect was the person she'd seen shoot the victims.
Based on that information, police obtained an arrest warrant for Rogers. He's wanted on two counts of first-degree murder.
