An employee at Sequoyah Middle School in Edmond has been taken to a medical facility after officials say he made threats to himself and others during a call to a suicide hotline.
Edmond police spokesperson Jennifer Monroe said the man called a 211 suicide help line Monday evening. He reportedly said he was having thoughts of harming himself and others.
According to Monroe, the call came from inside the school.
Police went to the school. They assessed the employee and then transported him to a medical facility to be evaluated.
