A Tulsa charity is helping Oklahoma's own have a good meal this holiday season.
The John 3:16 Mission had about a thousand turkeys left over from their Thanksgiving giveaway, so they handed them out to needy families Wednesday, along with sacks of potatoes.
"We just want to be a blessing to our community at Christmas time, to able just to bless them and help them. We love our community," said Pastor James Hudgins.
Pastor Hudgins said even a simple gift can make a big difference to a struggling family.
