First Oklahoma Bank broke ground Thursday on a new 60,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Jenks.
The bank will take up half of the building.
The rest will be available for lease by commercial and retail businesses.
There will also be a five-story parking garage that will serve the entire community.
"It's a substantial investment with what we're investing and the city of Jenks is investing. It should fill commercial development here in Jenks for a couple of years," said President and Co-CEO Thomas Bennet.
Construction on the new headquarters should take about a year-and-a-half.
