Edmond police are trying to identify a man who's allegedly using a fake Oklahoma ID card and forged prescriptions to try to get pills at metro pharmacies.
On December 20, 2012, employees at the CVS store at E. 15th Street and S. Bryant called police. They said a man had come in and tried to pass a forged prescription for 120 Oxycodone pills. The man left the store before police arrived, but he left behind his fake ID.
When an officer arrived, the pharmacist said he could tell the prescription was forged because the doctor's office address, the suspect's address and the pharmacy were all in different cities. The pharmacist also attempted to contact the doctor, but no one answered the phone.
Police have released the photo on the fake Oklahoma ID card, hoping someone will recognize the man. If you know who he is, call Edmond detectives at (405) 359-4477.
