First responders say the vehicle from the first accident was on fire when they arrived, right around 4 p.m. near SE 104th St. and E. Lake Stanley Draper Dr.
Two 17-year-old boys were in the first vehicle, a silver Mazda RX-8. According to police, the Mazda was driving a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and departed the roadway. The passenger was ejected and in critical condition when emergency crews arrived.
He died at the hospital from injuries suffered in the crash.
