The theater that claims to be home to America's longest running play is getting a much needed make over.

Tulsa's Spotlight Theater has launched a campaign to raise $4 million to renovate the old art deco building. Built in 1928, it has served as a studio, recital hall, and even a private home.

The money raised will go toward renovating the exterior, electrical and plumbing systems, and the theater's nine murals.

"Just to know that it's going to be around another 60, 70, or 100 years is wonderful, because there's nothing else like it," said President of Spotlight Wayne Hall.

As they have for the last 60 years, the theater will be performing "The Drunkard" this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
