The Norman Police Department has arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of killing a 23-month-old girl.
On April 11, police were called to an apartment at 1917 Twisted Oak Drive. They found Kiyla Rose Hosler unconscious and unresponsive. She was rushed to Norman Regional Hospital, where she died.
Police investigated and determined Jeremy Robert Howard was the only person taking care of the child when she sustained several severe injuries. They later arrested him for suspicion of first-degree murder.
The Cleveland County District Attorney's Office is expected to file formal charges later this week.
