Oklahoma City Police say the death of a woman whose body was found near Lake Overholser is a homicide, but it's still not known how she died.

Oklahoma City Police say the death of a woman whose body was found near Lake Overholser is a homicide, but it's still not known how she died.

A crew of volunteers was picking up trash April 20 in the 6900 block of N. Morgan Road when they discovered the body of 22-year-old Karen De Leon of Oklahoma City. Her mother had reported her missing April 6.

The medical examiner is still trying to determine how De Leon died, but police have now classified her death as the 24th homicide in the city this year.

Police do not have any suspects in the case. Anyone with information about De Leon's death is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
