Skiatook Marina Nearing Completion On Free Lakeside Getaway For Veterans

Work is moving along on a place where injured soldiers and their families can get away from stress and worry.

CrossTimbers Marina on Skiatook Lake is building an Honor Cottage.

Injured service members and their families will be able to use the lakeside cottage as a getaway for free, through the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Construction on the outside should be finished in the next couple of weeks for a Memorial Day dedication. It will be totally finished and ready for guests by July 4, 2013.
