National Weather Service Says Osage County Tornado Was EF1

The National Weather Service says a tornado that formed Monday near Avant in Osage County was rated EF1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale.

The tornado tracked across Highway 75 in Washington County and dissipated near Talala in Rogers County.

The tornado caused damage to a home near Talala.

The National Weather Service says the twister had maximum wind speeds of 100 to 110 mph.
