Tuesday's overnight storms caused big time damage to several homes and businesses in Tulsa.
The winds were clearly too much for some power lines. Winds snapped poles at the base, laying over one entire line on to a business just down the street.
The business didn't receive much damage, but others weren't so lucky.

Heading over the Arkansas River on Interstate-244, it doesn't take long to see the strength of last night's winds.
A look from SkyNews 6 showed how a secondary, decorative roof of OSU's Center for Health Sciences building was peeled back, causing classes to be canceled for the day.

Another school also was damaged last night, when Union's Eighth Grade Center was hit by lightning.
The school is still evaluating the damage today, but says it should be ready for the start of class.
John Khoury's home was hit by a lightning strike that sparked a fire on the roof around midnight.
"When something like this happens, you say ‘thank goodness I have my insurance,'" homeowner John Khoury said. "All of the sudden we heard a boom, kinda like a 500-pound bomb going off."

While many Tulsans spent their morning picking up tree debris, here at the 3100 center near Harvard Avenue and Skelly Drive, they spent their morning picking up office supplies and documents.
Continuing on Harvard, privacy fences are no longer private after winds uprooted the foundations, and businesses are nameless after awnings were ripped off of store fronts.
From the air, you can see the front of Mall 31 is a mess following storms near Sheridan Road.
