Tulsans met Tuesday night to let city leaders know how they'd like their money spent.
The city is hosting a series of meetings on a draft proposal for capital improvements. There are several ideas on the table.
According to a city councilor, road work seems to unite most Tulsans, but people at Tuesday night's meeting offered a few other ideas.
"I've come to speak with all humility to ask, can we do something my father and my father's father all knew was obvious? Fix the river," said resident David Arnett.
There are three more meetings scheduled. The next is Monday at the OU Tulsa Schusterman Center Auditorium.
Three more such meeting are scheduled for next month:
Aug. 5 - OU-Tulsa Schusterman Center Auditorium, 4502 E. 41st St. (Districts 4 and 9)
Aug. 6 - Rudisill Regional Library - Library Hall, 1520 N. Hartford Ave. (Districts 1 and 3)
Aug. 13 - Carbondale Assembly of God, 2135 W. 51st St. (District 2)
