Stillwater One Of Nine Stops For College Gameday Basketball Edition

On Saturday, March 1, 2014, ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast live from Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater it was announced today. Oklahoma State will face Kansas that evening at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

"We are thrilled that ESPN's College GameDay has decided to come to Oklahoma State this basketball season," OSU head coach Travis Ford said. "It is both a unique and wonderful experience for both the fans and our team. Every Saturday, college basketball fans wake up and tune in to ESPN to see where GameDay is going to be. On March 1st, it's going to be in a rowdy Gallagher-Iba Arena!"

This will be the second visit to Stillwater by College GameDay for a basketball game. In its inaugural season, ESPN came to Stillwater on March 5, 2005, in conjunction with the launch of ESPNU.

It will also be the second time Marcus Smart and the Cowboys square off against KU and super-freshman Andrew Wiggins. OSU takes on the Jayhawks in Lawrence on Saturday, Jan. 18.
