FBI agents are looking for a woman who robbed a credit union in Shawnee, Monday afternoon.
According to the FBI, at 3:45 p.m. the suspect walked into the Bison Federal Credit Union, located at 2 West MacArthur, and approached the teller counter.
The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied with her request and placed an undisclosed amount of money in a white purse with a shoulder strap.
The suspect then left the bank, and was seen getting into the passenger side of a light-gray or silver Chrysler 300 or similar vehicle with dark tinted windows. The car was last seen going northbound on Broadway.
Police say no weapon was ever seen or threatened during the incident. But the suspect kept her hand in her purse during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black woman who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 200 to 240 pounds. She has long black hair with braids, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and dark sunglasses.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Shawnee Police Department.
