Police say a man is shot and killed after they believe he "exchanged words" with two other men early Monday.
Tulsa Police got a call about a crash and shots fired in the 4900 block of South Norfolk at about midnight.
Officers said when they arrived they found a Cadillac next to a fire hydrant. They said the driver. Tyler Gragg, 28, was pronounced dead due to a gunshot wound.
Police Sgt. Dave Walker said a passenger in the Cadillac was not injured. He says that person has been questioned and released.
Walker says their investigation has determined prior to the shooting; Gragg had been involved in a drug transaction.
Shortly after that transaction, Walker said Gragg was driving home when he apparently noticed a small four-door light colored car with two men inside close by. Those two men got out of their car and talked with Gragg.
It was during that discussion Sgt. Walker said Gragg was shot. He said the two men got back in their car and drove away.
Gragg's death is Tulsa's 43rd homicide so far this year.
Anyone with information about Gragg's death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org
