Bartlesville Police Arrest Tennessee Man For Sexual Assault Of Teenager

Bartlesville Police arrested a man they say traveled from Tennessee to have sex with a teenager. Danial Glenn Lott of Memphis has been booked into Washington County jail on a complaint of first degree rape.

Authorities arrested Lott as he was checking out of a Bartlesville hotel, according to a news release from the BPD.

Captain Jay Hastings said a concerned parent called them to check on a teenage runaway who had been corresponding with an adult over the Internet. The investigation led them to Lott early Saturday morning.

The Washington County District Attorney's Office should determine formal charges against the 42-year-old Memphis man on Monday afternoon, Hastings said.
