The University of Oklahoma plans to study what improvements, if any, should be made to Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
The university's Board of Regents reviewed plans Wednesday for a feasibility assessment of the stadium. The study will look at the current condition of the stadium and examine options for seating, the press box and facilities used by the football team, among other areas.
"We're initiating a comprehensive review of one of the most tradition-rich sporting venues in the country and our ability to attract and train the country's top student-athletes and serve the best fans in college football," OU Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione said in a statement.
