A Moore mother is desperate to find out if her loved ones in the typhoon tore Philippines are still alive.
"I'm helpless right now," says Maria Roberson, who has six brothers and sisters unaccounted for in Tocloban City, one of the hardest hit areas.
"I cry every single time I watch the TV," says Roberson, who has been able to get through to any of her family members.
Roberson has a sister who lives in OKC, but is in Tocloban City to sell a family home. She is fearful that she may have tried to ride out the typhoon instead of leaving to safer ground beforehand.
This is the second time this year Roberson has dealt with a natural disaster. On May 20, her home was damaged by the tornado.
Maria is thankful that she was able to pick up her 6-year-old from Plaza Towers Elementary School 21 minutes before it was destroyed by the tornado.
The Moore mother is hoping her family in the Philippines is just as fortunate now.
