Osage Nation Opens New Casino In Skiatook

The Osage Nation opened a new casino in Skiatook Monday morning.

It not only includes gaming, but a hotel, restaurants, a sports bar and a multi-purpose event center.

After the ribbon cutting, guests wasted no time exploring the new digs. Tribal leaders say the Skiatook casino is not only good for the Osage Nation, but for the community as a whole.

Right now, 54 people work at the casino, but the tribe hopes to employ about 179 people once everything's finished.
